Q: The last time I exercised duffle coats were in fashion & George Michael was straight?
Q: Why is it 3 hours long - nothing I do these days lasts 3 hours!
By having a longer session we get to take away any time pressure in learning the moves. Imagine how it would feel if you had to master the Attack in only 2 hours. Yikes! More time lets us make sure everyone is still with us. There are clearly also breaks, for fresh air or simply to be plugged back into the oxygen tent - now I'm only joking.
Besides I find you're usually on your second wind by this point and could go for maybe another 3 hours ... or maybe not!
Q: What should I wear - I still have a pair of Kylie hot-pants I can get into.
How can I put this, No,No, NO! Clothing should be comfortable and easy to move in. If you're unsure whether it is can I suggest this little testing exercise; 2 star jumps arms and legs out-stretched followed by a deep lunge to the right and a body roll - feet to head. If at the end of that little lot you haven't garrotted or impaled yourself then you'll probably be fine.
Serious note: Shoes - jazz shoe or trainer, definitely nothing by Manola Blahnik.
Q: Can I choose my song?
Well here’s the thing, we always have 4 or 5 tracks in our mind along with varying levels of choreography. We use the initial warm-ups to see where your troupe is at and then decide which song and choreography are going to be right for your gang. We are masters at pitching it just so. The pop routine will be challenging, fun and a scream for all the right reasons.
Q: My Ladies ages range from 20’s to 70’s. Will it work for everyone?
Definitely,yes.
We often find the naughty ones are those that have lived a little. Besides any young
pretty things will be asked to dance in the dark corner of the studio so as not to
draw the attention away from the rest of us. Deal with it Cheryl!
Q: I have a recurring nightmare about being the only person dressed in lycra and standing amongst 40 highly toned dancers - how likely is it to be like this?
Riiight! Truthfully quite unlikely unless you take a wrong turn and end up in the middle of an audition for the 'Kids from Fame'. Give it a rest Leroy.

The bottom line is dance is a great form of exercise. If you haven't done much physical stuff recently then you just need to warm up thoroughly and ease in to the Attack gently. We’ll make sure you’re nice and safe. The great thing with dance is that so much is about the attitude you give it and you don't necessarily need to kill yourself in the process by leaping around like a demented reject from River Dance.
Short answer : You'll be fine - nice try.
